Interesting "Roanu" on track-

Tropical Low, Which formed over South-West Bay of Bengal near Srilanka coast, likely to intensify as a Well marked Low pressure soon....
It's bringing rounds of Heavy rain around the center. After 48 hours, it will move North-east wards initially and again start moving towards the Tamilnadu coast.

"Coastal Tamilnadu will be getting heavy rainfall by this weekend"

ECMWF takes the "Cyclone to cross Nagapattinam Coast":

The latest Run of ECMWF takes the cyclone to cross the coast of Nagapattinam around 17th. As said by our member Mouli, the ridge will prevent the system to take the North-east Turn. GFS only taking the system to turn North-east. 

I am expecting it to track to the Tamilnadu coast and fetch some much needed relief during election Time.
